It is super comfortable on the back and the gear loops are rectangular. Even the cheap stuff doesn't wear out as fast as I'd expect for the price - and anything I get tends to be worn or used pretty frequently. I believe the ropes are made by the French brand "Cousin" but then sold as Simond by Decathlon. While I was passing by a decathlon store I saw that they had some climbing equipment made by simond and couldn't find any reviews online. My favourite thing about decathlon is that they mark each product with the intended level of use. Decathlon has constantly exceeded my expectations and I have zero shame or self consciousness buying from them. Has anyone tried this brand before?, How is the quality?.
